Private cars are restricted

To protect the Namsan Park ecosystem, private cars have been restricted since 1 May 2005. Please park nearby and take the circular bus or walk up.

How to get up

Namsan circular bus

The usual way up. Get off the subway, hop on the circular bus, and it drops you at the tower.

Namsan cable car

Walk up from Myeongdong Station and ride the cable car to just below the Plaza.

On foot

30–40 minutes along the Namsan trails. In good weather this is the best approach.
